Products Description

Air Jet Sieve uses aerodynamic sieving to prevent agglomeration and achieve excellent sample dispersion. It is specially designed for the sieving analysis of fine, low-density particles that tend to agglomerate. It is compatible with analytical sieves with apertures of 10 microns and above. The sieve mesh undergoes special non-metallic treatment, and the nozzle speed is adjustable for flexible sieving, with an average sieving time of 2–3 minutes. It can be connected to manually adjustable industrial suction equipment, or fitted with optional automatic suction equipment. The continuous airflow ensures the repeatability of the sieving process and reproducible sieving results.

 

Working Principle
The vacuum cleaner is connected to the sieve analyzer, creating negative pressure inside the sieving chamber. Due to the pressure difference, the air at the nozzle forms a strong airflow that is jetted onto the sieve mesh surface and then drawn below the sieve apertures. As a result, samples smaller than the aperture size pass through the apertures along with the airflow and are drawn into the vacuum cleaner or cyclone separator. The airflow helps disperse the particles and clean the sieve mesh.
